Large commercial resinous flooring system installed by E&M Coatings
COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL FLOORING

Flooring Systems Engineered Around the Space.

Resinous coatings and polished concrete for commercial, industrial and institutional environments across Minnesota.

COMMERCIAL CAPABILITY

Performance Requirements Come First

A commercial floor may need to tolerate repeated cleaning, rolling traffic, spills, oils, abrasion, moisture or customer-facing aesthetics. We evaluate those conditions before recommending a flooring system.

Food Service

Commercial kitchens and back-of-house spaces where cleanability and durability matter.

Automotive & Service

Bays, work areas and shops exposed to traffic, oils, chemicals and impact.

Industrial & Facilities

Warehouses, work areas, corridors and utility spaces built around daily operations.

Retail & Public Interiors

Polished and resinous flooring where appearance and long-term maintenance both matter.

FEATURED PROJECT • CAMBRIDGE, MINNESOTA

Cambridge Curling Club Floor Transformation

A commercial flooring project is more than the finished surface. At the Cambridge Curling Club, E&M Coatings completed a full polyurea flooring transformation with concrete preparation, repair and detailing, installation, and finished floors across multiple areas of the facility.

The project demonstrates the kind of commercial work we are equipped to handle: active facilities, multiple floor areas, concrete that requires preparation and correction, and a finished system built around durability and return-to-service needs.

COMMERCIAL FLOORING FAQ

Planning a Facility or Bid?

Send drawings, photos, square footage, performance requirements and schedule information. We can review the project and help identify the right approach.

What commercial spaces can you install resinous flooring in?

We work with a range of high-use spaces including commercial kitchens, service bays, shops, warehouses, retail areas, corridors and other facilities where a seamless, durable surface is needed.

Can you work around facility downtime?

Project sequencing and cure time are important on commercial work. We discuss access, prep, cure and return-to-service requirements during estimating so the system fits the operating schedule.

Do you prepare existing or damaged concrete?

Yes. Existing coatings, cracks, pitting, contaminants and moisture-related concerns are evaluated before installation. The required preparation depends on the slab and selected system.

Can E&M quote work for general contractors or facility managers?

Yes. Send plans, square footage, system requirements and schedule information through the estimate request or email us directly for commercial project review.
